I like both depending on what the work is. There are times when I like being by myself to work on something in the lab. Then there are other times when I really like team company when working on a new project because we can share ideas and information.

I much prefer working as a team. I find I work better as sometimes when I work alone I find myself on a course of action which may not always be the best way. Working as a team we can challenge each other.

What about you Amir which do you prefer?

It depends. If I’m working on an implant design, it’s far easier to work on my own. Generally though, most of my work needs to be done as part of a team. Some process medical scan data and turn it into computer models, some design others make.

When it comes to publishing work, there are usually joint authors on papers, which I like. It’s easier that way.
