I didnt actually study to get into my particular field. I gained more experience from initially being in the hospital in a Computing role and developed myself once in situ. My studies were always around me doing a technical role though.

I studied for 4 years to get a degree and then another 4 years to get a PhD. Then I did some other jobs before I got a job in this area. However, I could have done a biomedical engineering degree for 3-4 years and then tried to find a job in this field directly.
