      I’m not sure what you mean here, but video is used a lot in brain, vascular and skull surgery. Surgeons use microscopes and video to look at details of structures so they can re-build them or remove disease.

      I’d like to develop videos that follow various patient cases, such as cancer, or traumatic injuries from the initial hospital visit, through to what happens along each step of the way, using engineering to help re-build and rehabilitate them. There is limited information to showcase and inspire how engineering can be used in surgical applications in a detailed, yet appropriate way to pupils, students and the broader population. Many people are unaware of what happens before, during and after procedures. Online videos could help to inspire future generations into this area.
